this is one of those matches where it was definitely helpful to watch it with people who know more context, lol, like I wouldn’t have understood the significance of kicking out of the one-winged angel if not for watching this match with Kenny Omega fans. match itself had a great sense of build and ospreay in particular did a really good job with selling the fatigue and exhaustion of such a lengthy match, and also extra points for the kenny omega anime-ass intro with literally all might, which I recognized from the little My Hero Academia I watched, and which made @joshknight1st.bsky.social and @marzgurl.com in particular lose their minds over. felt like a really significant match to watch and didn’t feel like it was over half an hour at all
