MJF really played up the hated US heel role lmao and oh my god místico was bleeding so much. I loved templario being a hype man and the crowd singing along to místico’s song, man being in that arena must’ve been electric.
my single criticism is that I wish there had just been a wee breath before the mask tear and blading because starting off with it felt abrupt (though going the whole match with místico bleeding everywhere went hard), but maybe that was also because the commentators just talked right over the opening as if nothing were happening lmao.
anyway I might be from the USA but I love seeing patriotic US caricatures being beaten down lmao and MJF just plays such a good heel and místico is so good at selling the “noooo noooo keep fighting” spirit.
as another review said not the flashiest or finest match but really one that encapsulates matches as theater and live communal experience.
