– Wrangled email inbox. Brain feels too mush still to write any words. I’m starting to realize 30-minute breaks, although longer than 15-minute breaks at the dayjob, aren’t enough for brain work, even if they’re enough for body work. I’m needing one-hour breaks realistically. Cut down inbox from about 500 emails (300 unread) to 71 read emails; unsubscribed from several newsletters and set up filters to prevent other junk mail from even hitting the inbox. Still feeling anxiety from stuff I have to reply to, but I can do that on another break or when I need another palate cleanser. And now lunch is here, so I can regroup with some food and then get to work properly.
