Just thought I’d share the Strange Horizons poetry podcast audition file I produced today. In it, I read “I Ask My Mother to Sing” by Li-Young Lee and “The devil riding your back” by Gabby Reed. I picked these poems so I would have one that demonstrates my ability to code-switch between English and Mandarin, and one that demonstrates my ability to parse poetry with a more complex structure. Enjoy!
